2025 VMC MT-01 MOTARD — 12" Wheels

The MT-01 is the supermoto answer to the GP12. It runs the same race-bred Cr-Mo chassis and the same braking package, but stands it up on 710mm forks and puts the rider on wide bars instead of clip-ons. The result is a machine that turns the same kart tracks into something entirely different — late, hard braking into the hairpins, back wheel stepped out, weight off the inside peg.

For riders coming from dirt or flat track, the MT-01 is the shortest route onto sealed surfaces without giving up the riding position they already trust. For GP12 riders, it is the best off-season tool there is: supermoto rewards throttle control and rear-end feel in a way a tucked-in GP bike never asks for, and those habits carry straight back to the race bike. Same track, same afternoon, a completely different skill set.

🛒 Ordering, Financing & What's Included

• Built to order: bikes are allocated to order with a typical 6–8 week lead time. Pay in full here, or reserve your build with a $1,500 deposit and pay the balance before delivery.
• Pay over time: Shop Pay Installments available at checkout — split the price into monthly payments.
• In the crate: complete bike, front and rear paddock stands, basic tool kit, owner's manual and setup sheet.
• Delivery: Bay Area pickup is handed over fully assembled and set up, same price as shipped. Elsewhere in the US, shipped crated to your door with minor assembly; freight is already built into the price.
• Colours: black and white plastics with VMC graphics.
• Ride it first: every Mala Racing rental day credits toward a bike purchase. Track-only race machine, sold as-is; all sales final.

The MT-01 is offered in the same four configurations as the GP12 — choose your engine at checkout. All engines are 4-stroke, oil-cooled, 4-speed (N-1-2-3-4).

• YX160 4-gear Kickstart — 160cc. 11.6 kW (15.6 hp) @ 8,500 rpm, 13.5 Nm @ 8,000 rpm. PE24 racing carburetor. The proven all-rounder.
• ZS190 2-valve 4-gear Kickstart + E-start — 190cc Zongshen, kick and electric start. PE28 racing carburetor.
• Daytona 190 4-valve 4-gear Kickstart — 190cc Daytona, kickstart. PE28 racing carburetor. The full-power build.
• Roller (No Motor) — complete rolling chassis for riders fitting their own engine.

🔧 Shared Parts With The GP12

The MT-01 shares its frame, swingarm, braking system, rear shock, wheels, tires and engines with the GP12, so if you already run a GP12 the spares on your shelf mostly carry over. MT-01-specific parts — 710mm forks, plastics, handlebars, rear sprocket, footpeg supports, gear lever, shifter rod and CNC shifter arm — are stocked separately.
