MiniGP Rental — How It Works

Ride a race-prepped MiniGP for $220 a day

We haul the fleet to Bay Area track days in the van. You show up with your gear, we hand you a bike that's fueled and set up for your weight, and we keep it running all day. That's the whole idea — track time without owning, trailering, or wrenching on a race bike.

How to book

  1. Check the rental calendar for the dates we'll be out.
  2. Pick your date and reserve. You'll enter your height, weight and experience so we can set the bike up before you arrive.
  3. Pay the $220 in full to hold the bike. Spots are limited to the size of the fleet — when a date shows sold out, every bike is spoken for.
  4. Pay the track's gate fee directly to the event organizer, separately from us.
  5. Sign the waiver at the track, pass a gear check, and ride.

What $220 covers

  • The bike for the full day
  • Fuel
  • Trackside mechanical support
  • Setup for your size — preload, lever position, controls
  • Normal wear: tires, chain, brakes, consumables

What it doesn't cover

  • Track entry / gate fee. Paid to the organizer running the day, not to us. It varies by venue and event — the amount is listed on each date's page.
  • Riding gear. You bring your own.
  • Crash damage. If you go down, you're responsible for parts at cost plus labor. We photograph and quote before we bill, and you'll have the invoice within 7 days.

Gear you must have

Checked before your first session, no exceptions:

  • Full-face helmet — Snell M2020 or ECE 22.06 or newer, no crash history, no visible damage
  • One-piece leathers, or a two-piece that zips together fully around
  • Gauntlet-style gloves
  • Over-the-ankle boots
  • Back protector

If you're missing something, ask us before you book — most track day organizers have gear rental on site, and we'd rather point you there than turn you away in the paddock.

Do I need track experience?

No. MiniGP is one of the best places to start — the speeds are low, the bikes are forgiving, and the lessons transfer straight to a big bike. Tell us your experience when you book and we'll set expectations honestly about which group you'll run in.

Cancellations

  • 14+ days out: full refund
  • 7–13 days: 50% refund, or move to another date at no charge
  • Under 7 days: no refund, but you can transfer to another date if we have a bike open
  • If we cancel — weather, van trouble, the event gets called off — you get a full refund, every time

Age

Riders must be 18 or older. Under 18 can ride with a parent or legal guardian present to sign the waiver.
