aRacer AF3 Wideband AFR Module

The aRacer AF3 is the wideband oxygen module that turns an aRacer ECU from a programmable box into a self-tuning one. It feeds real air-fuel ratio back to the ECU so you can run AutoTune (the ECU builds the fuel map on your engine while you ride or dyno it), then wideband closed-loop control once the map is learned, plus high-speed AFR logging for anyone finishing a calibration properly.

The AF3 is the current, high-speed module and the one to buy with any X or XX generation ECU (Mini X, Mini XX, Super X, Super XX). Earlier aRacer ECUs need the AF2 instead. On multi-cylinder Super ECUs it supports per-cylinder AutoTune where the hardware and calibration allow.

How to use it

aRacer’s recommended workflow: run AutoTune to build the calibration, key off to save the learned corrections, turn AutoTune off, then enable wideband closed-loop. AutoTune draws more current than normal running, so keep an eye on small batteries and long low-RPM sessions.

Compatibility

aRacer RC Super X, Super XX, Mini X and Mini XX ECUs. Requires a wideband sensor bung in the exhaust. Older aRacer platforms: use the AF2.
